Shake up your life: how to change your own perspective

You wake up in the morning thinking "Here we go again. Another day at the office." Have you ever thought that you are dooming yourself to a bad day in that moment? A lot of times, especially as women, we tend to think that one moment dictates our entire day. This is so far from the truth! Your perspective on situations can have a huge impact on how you react. Your day isn't going so well? Take a nice walk. Your coworker/partner/spouse has upset you? Step away from the situation and weigh all the options and reasons. Maybe they are having a bad day and need your support.


In this day and age, it's not always easy to remain positive. In fact, a little emotion and anger can sometimes get us into a better headspace. The secret is not to allow the anger or unhappiness take over your entire outlook. Enjoy life for what it is and live in the moment. We can't change the future and the past is just that, the past.
